A self described “Trans-Theist” at the age of 12, Stang received his first ‘Lenormand Fortune Telling Cards’ from his grandmother (herself a spiritualist, cartomancer and Ouija Board enthusiast) and quickly worked himself up to becoming a passionate scholar of divination with a special focus on Tarot. He trained at street fairs, among Sangoma’s in the Maluti Mountains of South Africa, and in the New York Botanicas of Brooklyn and the Bronx.
He is a lifelong practitioner of witchcraft and root work and is a celebrated member of the New York City magickal community

Orion Foxwood is an author, witch, conjure-man and faery seer. He is the author of “The Faery Teachings” (RJ Stewart Books), “The Tree of Enchantment” and “The Candle and the Crossroads” (Weiser Books). He was born with the veil (the second sight) in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia where he was first exposed to faith-healing, root-doctoring and second-sight practices of southern and Appalachian culture; and he has continued learning and teaching southern conjure and spirit-doctoring practices. He is the founder of the House of Brigh Faery Seership Institute; co-founder of Conjure Crossroads; and, the Founding Elder of Foxwood Temple, a coven dedicated to passing on the traditional witchcraft of his elders.
